Book Launch Celebration

We had a book launch celebration for Blazing Upheaval at the Bertelsen Winery in Mount Vernon, Washington. It was a fabulous time of warmth and support with family and friends.

It was a special treat to have my friend, Sandy, at the party. She was the one who told me the story of her brother being caught on 9/11 at a CEO convention in Seattle with no transportation home. My thriller, Fateful Connections, was based on his amazing story.

Dennis and I hosted the party. We took photos with all those who attended.

The Djembe drum is an important part of the story so I brought my little one and demonstrated how it is played.

Everyone had a wonderful time with a complimentary glass of wine and a piece of luscious red velvet cake.

Some of Dennis' family came to celebrate with us, even from Fresno, California.

My granddaughters helped out and wanted signed books. It was truly a fun party. I was encouraged by all the love and support from everyone who attended.
