What is your name?
My name is Tiffany Carter.
What do you look like?
I am of medium height, athletic, graceful, long strawberry blond hair, sparkling blue eyes, and attractive with a beautiful smile.
Where are you today and what are you doing?
I am at Leo Politi Elementary School in the central area of Los Angeles. I am teaching Djembe drum rhythms to my second-grade class. It relieves their tension and helps them focus.
Describe the outside of your home.
Around my home, I created a tropical paradise. The ugly block fence enclosing the yard now serves as a canvas for a vibrant, lush tapestry of greenery and color. Towering palm trees sway in the breeze along with tall slender bamboo shoots. Leaves rustle, creating a serene backdrop.
Over on one side of the yard, I planted a miniature orchard boasting dwarf citrus trees and banana plants, showing off their vibrant hues amidst the greenery.
I wove in an array of ferns and shrubs along the fence, between the trees. Birds Nest Ferns add a touch of elegance with their feathery fronds, while the Croton shrubs showcase flamboyant red, yellow, and orange leaves.
The fragrance of hibiscus flowers hang in the air. Their blossoms reflect my favorite shades of pink, red, and orange.
The tropical enchantment continues by the swimming pool and patio where palm trees, both potted and planted, line the poolside. Around the patio, hanging baskets overflow with cascading ferns and vibrant flowers. The effect is an air of relaxed elegance.
What’s the mood outside right now?
The mood outside the school right now is one of anxiousness, tension, insecurity, fear, grief, and shock as to what the community has lost in the Rodney King riots.
What is your favorite piece of clothing?
